Deadman's Point Motocross
began competition in the summer of 1968. Located in the High Desert of SoCal
about 90 minutes from the LA basin, the track had a nice population of all
brands of dedicated motocross machines of the day, and many "home brew"
conversions including the hugely popular AT1 and DT1 Yamaha enduro bikes. At the time, DMP
was the very first stadium style MX track in the Nation, and the third oldest track behind Saddleback and Carlsbad! The Point had a great
family atmosphere and would regularly turn out 200-300 riders on Sunday! This
recently released video captures the essence of Deadman's. We hope you enjoy.
